SIGNED QUARTER ZIP AUCTION

Auction of signed St Johnstone training quarter zip tops worn on the Trust’s Community Day.

The Saints in the Community online auction is now OPEN, and all funds raised will support the wide variety of projects the Trust deliver throughout the Perth & Kinross community.

April 22nd welcomed the Big Community Day at the St Johnstone vs Hibernian fixture at McDiarmid Park. The Community Day provided an opportunity to celebrate and showcase some of the fantastic work being carried out alongside helping to further highlight the Trust’s achievements. As part of this day, the St Johnstone first team players wore a special one-off quarter-zip warm-up top with our Saints in the Community logo front and centre and now you can grab one!

Signed, and with a certificate of authentication, bids are now open to get your hands on this unique memorabilia and take pride in supporting your local community.

Bids are on an open bidding process with the current winning bid visible for all. Bids can be added in increments of £5 and the winner of the specific auctioned item will be the individual with the highest bid at the closing time set.

The Community Day concluded our European Football for Development Network ‘MoreThanFootball’ campaign which, alongside fellow members across Europe, helped to shine a light into the social impact of football and the effect our community programmes and projects can have.

Our 12-month impact snapshot:

  • 1,282 sessions delivered
  • 20,028 total attendances
  • 1,819 free activity hours gifted
  • 3,991 match-day tickets gifted
  • 982 volunteer hours benefitted from

The Trust aims to build stronger communities through sport, education, and wellbeing to develop healthier, happier, and successful people. The activities delivered support children as young as 18 months old to adults aged over 100 years old.

The Community Day half-time presented an opportunity to showcase two projects currently ongoing within the Trust, with participants of our ADHD+Sport and Autism FC programmes joining us on the pitch for a short showcase before returning to watch the rest of the match. Both ADHD+Sport and Autism FC programmes provide a focus on inclusion within sport for all. Kids with neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD) can often find it difficult to take part in mainstream activities with both programmes providing a safe space for individuals to be themselves.

“Being able to take part in the ADHD+Sport sessions has helped me astronomically! I have built friendships and social skills, worked on my social anxiety, they have made me feel included and shown me I can do what I set my mind to.” Xander Gill, #MoreThanFootball Ambassador and project participant

All funds raised throughout the auction will be put to good use in the local community, going directly into maintaining, developing and creating projects which benefit the local community.

This is a charity fundraiser with multiple, signed St Johnstone memorabilia up for grabs which would be perfect for any avid St Johnstone fan to get their hands on. We hope you get involved!
