INTERIM CEO ANNOUNCED
We are delighted to share that Eric Knox is the interim Chief Executive Officer at The St. Johnstone Community Trust.
Eric brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Trust, having previously served as CEO of Dundee Volunteer & Voluntary Action, an independent charity dedicated to ensuring the delivery of high-quality services within Dundee’s third sector. With more than 30 years of experience in Tayside Police and a director role at Tayside Council on Alcohol also, Eric’s extensive background spans both the public and third sectors.
Eric said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be appointed to lead the Trust. I have been aware of the Trust since its inception in 2016 and have watched it grow with great interest. This growth could not have happened without the support of St Johnstone Football Club and my predecessor Fran Smith. I wish him all the best in his new role and look forward to working with him."
Eric's deep understanding of the region, combined with his experience in the third sector, will be instrumental in guiding the Trust through this transitional period, ensuring continued growth and success.
He added: "We have a small staff team but the the reach we have across Perth & Kinross is staggering. This is obviously a period of change for the Trust, but we will do everything in our power as a team to ensure any change you see is positive and our role in supporting communities continues to grow and we continue to make a real difference to people lives.”
The services which Saints in the Community provide for people across Perth & Kinross will go on as expected, as we continue to strive to build stronger communities through sport, education, and wellbeing to develop healthier, happier, and successful people.
