FOOTBALL FANS IN TRAINING
Get FFIT with The St Johnstone Community Trust
In partnership with The SPFL Trust, the Football Fans In Training (FFIT) programme is a free 13-week healthy living and weight loss course which helps you become more active, lose weight, get fitter and improve your general health.
Typically running two programmes each year, each course is for men or women aged 35 to 65 years old, who have a waist size of 38 inches or more. Each session sees participants spend time in the classroom covering topics such as weight management, healthy eating, and alcohol awareness in addition to a physical exercise session with our coaches.
The main aims of the programme are to:
- increase knowledge of diet & nutrition
- improve lifestyle choices
- increase physical activity amongst participants
- reduce weight and waist measurements
- increase engagement in other physical activity
Session dates:
- Men: Wednesday 15th January - Wednesday 9th April 2025
- Women: Monday 16th September - Monday 9th December 2024

Prostate FFIT
The unique Prostate Football Fans in Training, delivered in partnership Prostate Scotland and The SPFL Trust, is coming to McDiarmid Park! The Prostate FFIT programme is open to all men affected by prostate cancer and is a great opportunity to meet men in a similar situation, to share experiences and improve fitness levels. Sessions
The 13 week course kicked off Wednesday 12th of June and provides a great opportunity to meet others, share experiences & improve fitness levels.
