AUTISM FC LEAGUE RETURN

On World Autism Awareness Day, Wednesday 2nd March, we took a moment to reflect on the achievements of the Saints in the Community Autism FC team.

The squad recently travelled to Cowdenbeath on 23rd March for the first Team United league fixtures of 2025, and it was another positive experience for our Autism FC players.

With two teams, the Saints Blues and Saints Whites, representing Saints in the Community, the day was filled with strong competition and great sportsmanship. Both teams played five 12-minute matches against some tough opponents. The Saints Blues showed solid form, winning four of their five matches and securing a place in the Premiership division. The Saints Whites managed to win two of their games and will compete in the Championship division when both teams return to action on 25th May at Falkirk Stadium.

The teams faced strong competition in the North Region fixtures, playing against Dundee United, Raith Rovers, Pars Foundation, Milton FC, and Monifieth Athletic. As always, the key focus of the day was the sense of community that football brings. The Autism FC squad is about more than just the games - it’s about building friendships, boosting confidence, and enjoying the experience. We’re proud of the progress our players have made, both on and off the pitch.

We’d like to thank all the players, coaches, families, and supporters for their continued dedication and enthusiasm. Your support makes all the difference. With the next round of fixtures set for 25th May at Falkirk Stadium, we look forward to seeing what our teams will accomplish next.

At Saints in the Community, we’re committed to making football accessible for everyone. Together, we continue to break barriers and show that football truly is for everyone.

Thank you for your ongoing support!
