A DAY AT THE RACES WITH SAINTS IN THE COMMUNITY

We are delighted to announce that Saints in the Community have been selected as the official charity partner for this year’s Family Raceday at Perth Racecourse!

Taking place on Sunday, July 13^th, the Family Raceday is a highlight of Perth Racecourse’s Summer calendar – offering a brilliant day out for all ages, packed with excitement, entertainment, and community spirit. We’re incredibly proud to be a part of this fantastic event and look forward to sharing the positive impact of our programmes with families and racegoers throughout the day.

This partnership provides a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of the work we do across Perth and Kinross, from our recreational football programme for children and young people, to our support for people with neurodiverse conditions, themed education work in schools, and community projects that reduce isolation, improve mental health and promote inclusion.

On the day, Saints in the Community staff will be there providing fun activities, games for all the family and plenty of information regarding our ongoing projects and how your support helps us make a real difference within Perth and Kinross.

What’s Happening on the Day?

There’s something for everyone at the Family Raceday:

Picnic Enclosure:

• Free Activities: Keep the kids entertained with a whole range of inflatable and have-a-go games.
• Family Picnics: Bring your own picnic or grab delicious treats from our food vendors.
• Pack the Car: Pack up the car and bring the kitchen sink if you fancy! Make sure you select your Picnic Car Pass at check-out if you wish to bring a vehicle into the Picnic Enclosure.

Grandstand Enclosure:

• Thrilling Races: Witness the excitement of horse racing from trackside, underneath the canopy of the Club Stand.
• Family-Friendly Activities: Enjoy giant games and bouncy horses.
• Delicious Food: Indulge in tasty treats from Well Hung & Tender and Paddock & Chips.

As part of our presence at Family Raceday, we’ll also have donation buckets around the racecourse for anyone who wishes to support the ongoing work of Saints in the Community. As a standalone charity, every contribution, big or small, helps us continue delivering vital programmes across Perth and Kinross. Whether you join in our activities, chat with our team, or drop a donation in a bucket, your support on the day will help us make an even greater impact in our communities.
